I have Windows 7 Professional 64bit on my laptop and a desktop with Windows 7 HomeP. I am using the offline files feature on my laptop. I keep the files on the desktop, so it acts like my server. Everything works fine if the desktop has just booted up, but when it resumes from sleep mode, a red X appears in the notification area on the network icon. I have ran the network troubleshooter and have gotten the message that my firewall may be blocking the computer from accessing the files. I looked on Norton Internet Security and it is aware of my laptop and is marked as trusted (so that it can share files). Whenever I try to access any file located on my desktop from my laptop, I canot open the folders (unless it is an offline file of course).
It says that 'the file is current not avaliable for use on this computer'. It is greyed out. When my desktop is on, it is displayed in the network folder, but it does not contain any printers or network drives except for the ones located in my offline file collection.

I tried running the troubleshooter from my laptop and this is what it says that all is well. Finally, I ran the Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool from my laptop to find out what my router supports. It turns out my Wireless N router does not support the following features: Traffic Congestion TCP High Performance Multiple Simultaneous Connection States I followed the directions from and disabled the AutoTuning feature associated with TCP High Performance. I have also updated all drivers associated with Networks and updated my router firmware. My router is a TP-Link TL-WR941ND.
I am sorry for the lenthy message, but I am frustraighted. I have been dealing with this issue for months! Please help me if you can; I would really appreciate it!
